MISSION
After so many years of searching for the truth in God's Word, we are now called to spread this message. We certainly encourage everyone to search the Bible for themselves. We will describe the Holy Spirit (God's power and presence) Jesus, and God in a new refreshing light which will lead you into a relationship you've always dreamed of. Emails are encouraged. Scripture states that no one knows the whole truth or correct interpretations, That goes for us too. Sense that is true, we always keep an open mind. Breaking away from traditional Christianity we developed an attitude of non traditional possibilities.

The dynamic Mind of Christ page goes into what completely changes our minds, feelings, and lives.
Page - Learning to be Christlike - is still in the process of completion, but will cover what a person does to actually be like Christ.
Spiritual Life Goes On Forever
We are two ministers who prayed for understanding and consistently searched the scriptures, having studied for a combined 50 years. We have been taught the Bible by church ministers, televangelists, and motivational speakers of all kinds and denominations. We were, for such a very long time, dissatisfied with what we learned while striving to reach a deeper understanding of the Bible and God. Our main purpose in life was the same, to find the treasure of spiritual knowledge with understanding. We decided to pray for guidance and the ability to study with open minds, independent of traditional slants and confusing church doctrines. We couldn't see God's basic truths when we were guided by others, even those who are held in highest regard in the Christian world. The Bible had to make sense or why would a loving God say,"You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13) In 2007, after 7 years of intensive study, things became clear in a flash. We got the understanding we had been praying for. The pieces of the puzzle fell into place and it shook us to the core. We had been focusing on all the pieces but couldn't see the big picture. We got a clear and simple picture.
We, Jennie and I (Karen), are so convinced of these revealed truths because they literally have changed our lives. All doubt about what we know has vanished and we have the peace God promised in Philippians 4:7 "And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We have show what has been revealed to us.
I am responsible for maintaining this website. I have a degree in psychology. Jennie has an associates degree in human science and has earned certificates relating to her degree. We both are retired social workers. We were both raised by Christian, church going parents.
For 30 years I didn't know if there was a god, being agnostic, approving abortion, and believing in evolution. My journey started by giving God parts of my life, all except my brain. That was, of course, the most important part. This was the last sacrifice I was going to make. I can't describe what an exciting adventure I've been having since then.
We at MyGodSpeaks.com teach Bible study in our home and hold services. Our ministry is called Voice in the Desert. We live in Southern California, in the desert, 50 miles east of L.A. We are not affiliated with any church, but donations are tax deductible. Our creed may sound like one church or another. This is bound to happen. Please keep reading and let us know what you think.
